The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The company proposals are supported on the grounds of providing stable and predictable dividends, strengthening the management base, and establishing fair, transparent and effective governance. The Board opposes the shareholder proposals on the grounds that nuclear power generation is important in terms of stable supply, economic efficiency and environmental suitability; that the company will promote the nuclear fuel cycle and pluthermal power generation in line with the national energy policy; that individual disclosure of donations is not appropriate; that material risks have already been disclosed; and that there are no grounds for removing the president, among other reasons.
