Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

Although the number of sales declined, mainly for SIM-only contracts, revenue exceeded the level for the same period of the previous year due to higher average selling prices for mobile phones bundled with service plans, reflecting higher handset prices, as well as expanded sales of ancillary products. In addition, recurring revenue remained solid as the number of subscribers to the fixed-price support service increased. Meanwhile, selling, general and administrative expenses increased due to higher personnel expenses and sales promotion expenses.
