「In addition to our existing measures, during the current fiscal year we began operating a group-wide sales structure under the leadership of group management. We appointed managers responsible for monitoring the sales activities of each group company, enabling us to pursue opportunities to win projects that individual companies could not handle through joint group sales efforts and to make proposals using teams composed of members from across the group. We are also working to share information on the personnel of the group companies and to expand order opportunities and improve our proposal capabilities. As a result, we have begun winning projects that we believe would not have been secured under the previous sales structure. In addition, whereas we previously monitored changes in future order trends, including existing projects, and took measures based on recent performance, we have established a structure to forecast conditions at least 3 months ahead and are working to limit the expansion of business performance risks based on future projections.」
The company moved from sales conducted separately by each company to a group-wide sales structure combining joint group sales, cross-company teams, sales managers, and personnel information sharing, and began operating a structure to forecast order conditions at least 3 months ahead. It states that it has begun winning projects that would have been difficult to secure under the previous structure.
