The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The Information and Communications Services and Glamping and Tourism businesses drove revenue growth. Although the Global WiFi business was affected by heightened tensions in the Middle East and the weaker yen, higher profit was secured through optimization of promotional expenses and improved operating efficiency. In addition, while making ¥425 million in upfront investments, selling, general and administrative expenses were reduced by ¥105 million year on year, mainly through lower personnel and advertising expenses.
