The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Against the backdrop of growing demand for lunar development, customers have raised their expectations for mission quality and development efficiency. The two landers will therefore be integrated to improve quality. In addition, delays in the development of VoidRunner have delayed the demonstration of the fuel efficiency required to meet performance specifications, so the engine will be changed to an alternative engine to enable more reliable lunar landing missions. The development structure will be reformed to reduce costs across the Company and strengthen control over the development budget and schedule.
