「Since FY2021, we have calculated the Group-wide Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions. Actual emissions in FY2023 were 1,778t-CO2, down 4.7% year on year. As specific measures to reduce emissions going forward, we plan to actively replace gasoline-powered company vehicles, which account for a large portion of energy consumption, with fuel-efficient vehicles such as EVs and hybrid vehicles, and reduce electricity consumption by improving the efficiency of the air-conditioning equipment at the Nishinomiya Head Office building.」
Actual Scope 1 and 2 emissions for FY2021–FY2023 and the year-on-year reduction rates, together with plans to switch to EVs and hybrid vehicles and improve air-conditioning efficiency, have been disclosed for the first time.
