Items this document does not state (9)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The decline in revenue and profit was due to the winding down of the Noto disaster-waste treatment support project. The resource recycling business recorded higher revenue and profit, driven by increased volumes of waste and used home appliances handled, resource prices remaining at elevated levels, and more thorough sorting of nonferrous metals. The earnings forecasts were revised upward based on progress in the three core segments exceeding plan.
