In the medical institutions segment, revenue increased due to an increase in the number of key locations supported, optimization of monthly fees, an increase in patient numbers at U.S. clinics, and the addition of new consolidated subsidiaries, while costs for evaluating new businesses and upfront investment for opening OBL facilities increased. In the hospice segment, the commencement of operations at 15 new facilities contributed to revenue, but lower unit prices following the revision of medical service fees, as well as initial costs and depreciation associated with new openings, put pressure on profit. In the home-visit nursing segment, revenue increased as operations expanded at new locations, but personnel and recruitment expenses increased due to initial costs and advance hiring.
