Establishment of the Sustainability Disclosure Infrastructure and Third-Party Assurance

「In light of amendments to the Financial Services Agency’s Cabinet Office Ordinance on Disclosure of Corporate Affairs and other regulations, as well as the Sustainability Disclosure Standards and other standards published by the Sustainability Standards Board of Japan (hereinafter, the “SSBJ Standards”), the Group is working toward including sustainability-related information in its annual securities reports for the fiscal year ending March 2028. The Group’s operating companies and related departments are collaborating around 8 specialized subcommittees under the Sustainability Committee to revise materiality, review the decarbonization vision, introduce a new environmental system for aggregating and analyzing environmental data, revise the GHG aggregation manual and address third-party assurance.」
