Supplementary Explanatory Materials for the Fiscal Year 2025 Financial Results

In FY2025, revenue and profit increased, driven by the conversion of the agriculture-related business into a subsidiary and growth in real estate and international logistics. Operating profit, ordinary profit and net income all reached record highs. In FY2026, revenue is expected to increase, but profit is forecast to decline due to factors including a lower gross margin and lower equity-method investment income.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In FY2025, revenue increased due to the conversion of the Hinomaru Group into a consolidated subsidiary in the agriculture-related business, the opening of ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. in real estate leasing, and factors including foreign exchange movements and higher volumes handled in international logistics. The main factors behind operating profit were higher gross profit in international logistics, housing and leasing; the main factor behind ordinary profit was an increase in equity-method investment income; and the main factors behind net income were increases in gains on sales of fixed assets and gains on sales of investment securities. In FY2026, factors expected to reduce profit include lower gross margins in real estate sales and construction-related businesses, lower business support fees from overseas real estate, and lower equity-method investment income.
