Items this document does not state (8)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The increase in revenue was supported by sufficient inventory, solid customer inquiries, and progress in delivering properties that had been accumulating under contract since the end of the previous quarter. Operating profit benefited from the increase in properties sold and an improvement in gross profit per property, as long-term inventory was sold without price reductions. SG&A expenses increased due to a rise in the number of new graduates hired, higher profit-linked incentives, and a change to monthly recognition of human capital investments.
