The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The increase in guarantee obligations and demand for outsourced credit management services, driven by labor shortages and higher wages, contributed to revenue growth. However, profit margins declined due to higher re-guarantee fee rates accompanying deterioration in loss ratios at securitization destinations, an increase in guarantee payments for guarantees underwritten in-house, and growth in the sales workforce. The delay in the medium-term plan was attributed primarily to the failure to increase the sales workforce as planned in the first year and a greater-than-expected burden from training and managing new employees.
