The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The company revised its executive compensation system to accelerate improvements in corporate value by making the enhancement of capital efficiency the highest-priority objective under the 2028 Medium-Term Management Plan, which began in April 2026, and by improving profitability. Taking market compensation levels into account, the company will align compensation levels with the roles and responsibilities of executives. In conjunction with increasing the proportion of performance-linked stock compensation from 18.75% to 25%, the company will revise the cap on trust contributions.
