Factors Behind Changes in Business Performance

Revenue increased due mainly to growth in the balance of operating assets. In the Lease & Finance business, contract execution volume increased on demand for PC replacements following the end of Windows 10 support, as well as capital investment by companies to address labor shortages and improve efficiency and labor productivity. In the Services business, services for new customers that commenced operations grew, as did school fee collection and other services, while transaction volume in medical and nursing care fee factoring increased. In the Investment business, contract execution volume declined following the sharp increase in the previous fiscal year in investments in trust beneficiary interests related to logistics facilities.
