The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The full-year earnings forecasts were revised based on the latest business trends. For ATMs, the replacement of all units with fourth-generation ATMs made clear, due to improved equipment performance, the gap between the previous useful life and the economically usable period. The useful life was therefore reviewed based on actual usage and expected future use.
