The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Following the replacement of all ATMs with fourth-generation models, the company reviewed their actual usage and expected future utilization and determined that the previous useful life of 5 years differed from their economically usable period. The useful life was therefore changed to 7 years. As a result, depreciation expense for the full fiscal year ending March 2027 is expected to decrease by approximately ¥4,000 million, while ordinary profit is expected to increase by approximately ¥4,000 million.
