The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The directors’ compensation limit will be revised to accommodate a possible increase in the number of directors and changes in their responsibilities, taking into consideration economic conditions and compensation levels at other companies. The share-based compensation limit will be abolished because the scheme has already been discontinued, in order to clarify and simplify the authorization relating to compensation. The Audit & Supervisory Board members’ compensation limit will be revised in light of the increasingly sophisticated and diverse roles and responsibilities of Audit & Supervisory Board members, to enhance the structure, secure and retain talent, and strengthen corporate governance.
