Reason for the revision

For the interim period, demand driven by concerns over price increases resulting from the raising of energy-efficiency standards in April 2027, the so-called 2027 air-conditioner issue, led revenue to exceed the initial forecast. In addition, growth in selling, general and administrative expenses was contained, and all profit figures were expected to exceed the initial forecasts. For the full year, the revenue forecast was revised to reflect current conditions, while profit forecasts were left unchanged after taking into account higher selling, general and administrative expenses associated with initiatives to support revenue growth from the following fiscal year onward, including store repairs.
