  1. FY2027-H1First statedAnnual report

「As part of our nature-positive initiatives, "AEON Hometown Forest Creation" marked its 35th anniversary, and we are working to visualize the biodiversity value of forests. The 2025 fiscal-year "AEON Hometown Forest Biodiversity Survey" confirmed 2,299 species at 120 locations nationwide. In fiscal 2026, we will expand the survey area to more than 150 locations nationwide, continuously and quantitatively track changes in biodiversity, and use the results in initiatives aimed at restoring nature.」

For the first time, nature positivity was presented as an independent theme and a pillar of the environmental strategy. The biodiversity survey, which confirmed 2,299 species at 120 locations nationwide in fiscal 2025, is targeted for expansion to more than 150 locations in fiscal 2026.
