Reason for acquisition

To enhance corporate value, the Company is reviewing its capital structure with a view to achieving a sound capital structure and considering the resumption of dividend payments. As this has established a framework that enables the payment of dividends, the Company intends to return profits to shareholders to the greatest extent possible. The Company plans to pay a dividend of ¥5 per share at the end of the current fiscal year. While seeking to improve capital efficiency through proactive investment, the Company will consider the acquisition of treasury shares, depending on its capital position, in addition to dividends as an option for returning profits to shareholders. Based on this policy, the Company will acquire treasury shares as a shareholder return for its performance in the fiscal year ending August 2026.
