The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The success of limited-time campaign products increased customer numbers and average spend per customer, driving higher revenue. However, profit declined due to a higher cost ratio in the domestic MOS BURGER business resulting from surging raw material costs, as well as increases in selling, general and administrative expenses, including payment processing fees and sales promotion expenses. Higher costs had already been factored into the plan, and the full-year forecast remains unchanged following the price revision implemented in July.
