The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The Company is conducting an internal investigation, involving outside experts, into suspicions that a Managing Director improperly received compensation. As the investigation, financial closing procedures and accounting audit are expected to require a considerable amount of time, the announcement of the financial results has been postponed, leaving the Company unable to report the matters for reporting at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The share compensation plan is intended to clarify the linkage between directors’ compensation and business performance and share value, and to strengthen awareness of the need to contribute to improved medium- to long-term performance and increased corporate value.
