The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the domestic interior segment, results benefited from the recovery from supply constraints caused by a fire at a supplier's factory and increased sales volume resulting from rush demand ahead of the 1 July 2026 price revision. The overseas segment returned to profitability due to stricter cost management and the absence of one-off costs associated with large projects in the previous fiscal year. In addition to higher operating income, quarterly net income reflected approximately ¥800 million in extraordinary income, including subsidy income.
