The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

A recovery in construction equipment rental companies’ willingness to purchase, a recovery in rental demand, appropriate rental pricing, and improved asset efficiency resulting from higher utilisation increased net sales and profit. Meanwhile, upfront investments in equipment installation and hiring related to surveying DX, as well as IT infrastructure improvements, reduced profit in the construction equipment business. In the trading business, the newly consolidated ケアレックス株式会社 contributed to higher sales and profit. In addition, the reversal of ¥83 million in the provision for shareholder benefit expenses increased profit.
