Reason for the revision

In the fourth quarter, the company was affected by foreign exchange movements and rising market prices associated with the procurement season for imported seafood. Due to weak market conditions in the surimi segment of the food business, the impact on production from a fire at the meal plant of a surimi manufacturing subsidiary, poor performance at a subsidiary manufacturing mentaiko products for mass retailers and a processed-food manufacturing subsidiary, and the logistics business's inability to absorb higher costs, full-year results are expected to fall short of the forecast by approximately ¥550 million in total.

Previous-period resultsNet sales: ¥133,900 million; operating profit: ¥3,002 million; ordinary profit: ¥3,601 million; net income attributable to owners of the parent: ¥2,666 million; net income per share: ¥320.06
