The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Construction starts and project progress stagnated due to labor shortages at construction sites and surging material prices, while market conditions deteriorated, with steel-frame demand falling to levels below those seen during past recessionary periods. Although the Company improved the functions of its web-based sales system “ねじネット,” expanded its product lineup, added customer-facing functions, and strengthened procurement of new imported products, these measures were insufficient to offset the deteriorating external environment, and both orders received and demand remained weak.
