Demonstration research on blockchain-based environmental value trading and a system for RE100 companies

「As a major initiative in energy management, the company further advanced the demonstration research conducted jointly with The Kansai Electric Power Company,Incorporated last fiscal year on direct electricity trading for solar and other power generation using blockchain technology. In December 2019, it began demonstration research to determine the trading prices of the “environmental value” generated by power generation and to develop a system enabling environmental value trading for “RE100” companies.
