Reason for the revision

In the production-related business, demand for semiconductors and AI, data centers, aerospace, shipbuilding and defense continued to significantly exceed expectations. Interim results exceeded the forecast as the likelihood of inquiries progressing to formal contracts improved, the time required to conclude contracts shortened and products procured in advance were shipped earlier in response to stronger-than-expected orders. The full-year forecast was revised based on the order backlog, promising inquiries and outlook for product procurement in the overseas production-related business, as well as the sales mix including other businesses.
