「In August 2023, in Benin, where securing a stable and affordable power supply is an urgent issue, the company received an order from the Benin Electricity Generation Company, under the country’s Ministry of Water and Energy, to construct a 25 MW solar power plant. It is a large-scale renewable energy power plant project and the first of its kind undertaken by a Japanese company in West Africa. Completion is scheduled for 2025. Through this project, the company will help resolve challenges in Benin’s electricity supply and contribute to sustainable economic development.」
