Strengthening Collaboration with African Governments and Partners through TICAD8

「At the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8), we held meetings with heads of state and ministers from major African countries and concluded a total of 25 memorandums of understanding (MOUs), further strengthening our relationships with governments and partner companies. With Tunisia, the host country, we concluded a comprehensive MOU aimed at strategic cooperation in areas including a study of seawater desalination using renewable energy. We will continue to promote value-creation businesses in Africa with a view to the future, going beyond simply addressing social issues.」
