    「The “Accounting Standard for Revenue Recognition” and the “Implementation Guidance on the Accounting Standard for Revenue Recognition” have been applied from the beginning of the current fiscal year.」

    The revenue recognition standard was applied from the beginning of the fiscal year to financial statements prepared under Japanese GAAP. Depending on the classification of transactions as principal or agent, revenue and cost of sales were presented net by approximately ¥3.2 trillion compared with the previous method. It was stated that there was no impact on gross profit or profit before income taxes.
