The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

In the parking equipment-related business, revenue increased due to growth in multistory parking facilities driven by inbound demand, the front-loading of revenue from newly constructed properties, and strong renovation projects for existing properties. In the gear reducer-related business, the recovery in machine tool market conditions, price revisions and growing demand for made-to-order products for AGVs and other applications contributed to the increase. On a consolidated basis, profit increased due to the effects of price revisions in response to higher raw material prices and lower selling, general and administrative expenses, including advertising expenses.
