The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Net sales increased due to contributions from CAD/CAM-related products, higher overseas sales and foreign exchange fluctuations, while operating income increased mainly due to the effect of higher sales. The increase in ordinary income was primarily attributable to the change from foreign exchange losses to foreign exchange gains and an increase in dividend income. The main factor behind the increase in net income attributable to owners of the parent was the recognition of a ¥1,124 million gain on sales of investment securities.
