「As part of our environmental initiatives, we are working to improve energy efficiency, recycle precious metals and other materials, and promote environmentally friendly packaging. Specifically, we continue to systematically reduce our consumption of fuel, heat and electricity in accordance with the so-called Energy Conservation Act. We also work with refining companies to recycle precious metals such as gold, platinum, palladium and silver. In addition, we are reducing our use of plastic in packaging materials, including by using cellophane tape made from wood pulp instead of plastic tape. For carrier bags, we use environmentally friendly paper made from responsibly managed forests.」
