The bar length represents the relative magnitude of change, based on the item that changed the most in this document. The percentage change shown by the dotted line is calculated from the two reported figures because the company did not provide the rate.

Reason for the revision

Production of packaging in the printing business declined due to production adjustments by customers and other factors, causing net sales, operating profit and ordinary profit to fall below the previous forecast. Meanwhile, after carefully assessing the recoverability of deferred tax assets, the Company recognized the portion expected to be recovered. As a result, it recorded an adjustment to corporate income taxes of ¥308 million (a negative figure indicates a benefit), and net income attributable to owners of the parent exceeded the previous forecast.

Details and amount of extraordinary loss

Impairment loss of ¥565 million on fixed assets, including land and machinery, at the Nasu Plant; and impairment loss of ¥314 million on fixed assets, including leased assets and machinery, held by the consolidated subsidiary 新村印刷株式会社
