「If a temporary surge in system load, such as a sharp increase in access, causes an outsourced provider's server to become inoperable, or if an unexpected event such as a fire, earthquake or power outage causes a failure in an outsourced provider's systems or servers, or in the systems of an internet service provider, the Group may be forced to suspend its services.」
The Company disclosed the possibility of service interruptions caused by system failures at the Company, outsourced providers, business partners or ISPs, as well as by natural disasters. Redundancy, 24-hour monitoring and backups were cited as countermeasures.
