Notice Regarding Revisions to Earnings Forecasts

The full-year consolidated earnings forecasts for the fiscal year ending October 2026 have been revised as follows: net sales from ¥9,500 million to ¥8,500 million, operating income from ¥150 million to a ¥400 million loss, ordinary income from ¥140 million to a ¥380 million loss, and net income attributable to owners of the parent from ¥98 million to ¥30 million. Although the earnings forecasts have been substantially revised downward overall, net income is expected to remain positive, due in part to gains on the sale of land at the former Kanto plant.

Reason for the revision

Due to rapid changes in the external environment beyond expectations, including heightened tensions in the Middle East, the sharp depreciation of the yen, a global logistics slowdown and shortages of raw materials, net sales and profit at each level are expected to fall below the initial forecasts. In the printing industry, variable costs such as materials, logistics and subcontracted processing are expected to increase by more than double-digit percentages from June onward.

Previous-period resultsNet sales: ¥8,478 million; operating loss: ¥623 million; ordinary loss: ¥651 million; net loss attributable to owners of the parent: ¥948 million; net loss per share: ¥39.75 (fiscal year ended October 2025)
Dividend forecast revisionThe policy is to continue the originally planned dividends for both the current and next fiscal years.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Due to rapid changes in the external environment beyond expectations, including heightened tensions in the Middle East, the sharp depreciation of the yen, a global logistics slowdown and shortages of raw materials, net sales and profit at each level are expected to fall below the initial forecasts. In addition, double-digit percentage increases in the costs of materials such as paper and ink, logistics expenses, and subcontracted processing costs are expected from June onward. Net income attributable to owners of the parent is expected to be secured at around ¥30 million, mainly through the recognition of a gain on the sale of land at the former Kanto plant as an extraordinary gain.
