Sustainable use of forest resources and contribution to decarbonization through the use of domestic cedar

「As a company handling domestic cedar logs, we are working through our business activities to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions and environmental impact and help realize a decarbonized society and conserve forest resources by fully utilizing timber resources that absorb and store carbon dioxide over long periods. In the fiscal year ending October 2024, we sawed approximately 220,000 cedar logs, each 4 meters long, contributing to the renewal of domestic forests and the sustainable use of forest resources by promoting the use of legally sourced timber.」
