The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Lifestyle Products grew due to the consolidation of Thousand Co., Ltd. and other companies as subsidiaries, expanding demand for entertainment (IP) and fan activities, and the acquisition of multiple large-scale projects from companies performing well. In e-commerce, growth was supported by stronger marketing assistance for existing BtoB customers and the acquisition of new customers, as well as web advertising and SEO initiatives on the DtoC site. Meanwhile, selling, general and administrative expenses increased due to investments in human capital, digital transformation, freight and sales commissions associated with higher sales, M&A-related expenses, and year-end performance bonuses.
