Revised forecast
Fiscal year ending June 2026 · Full yearPrevious forecast published 7 August 2025The bar length represents the relative magnitude of change, based on the item that changed the most in this document. The percentage change shown by the dotted line is calculated from the two reported figures because the company did not provide the rate.
Although the medical and elderly care facility markets and overseas markets remained firm, demand for certain mattress product lines handled by a consolidated subsidiary has eased in the furniture and bedding distribution market, and net sales are expected to fall short of the previous forecast. Operating profit is expected to be affected by higher procurement costs resulting from the weaker yen and lower net sales, which will more than offset the improvement in the gross profit margin from cost reductions and other measures. In addition to the downward revision to operating profit, ordinary profit is expected to be affected by higher interest expenses due to rising interest rates and a decrease in equity in earnings of affiliates.
