The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The increase was driven by growth in sales of best-selling products, proposals for new concepts and products, a focus on selling lifestyle products, stronger capabilities in proposing product displays, cost reductions, a decrease in impairment losses on inventory, and reductions in selling, general and administrative expenses. Net income increased because compensation income received in connection with the relocation of the head office was recorded as extraordinary income.
