「The Group analyzed nature-related risks and opportunities in line with the LEAP approach, covering its core vision care business. Of its 235 locations, 49 were identified as areas requiring consideration of nature. However, 44 of these were headquarters, sales offices and similar locations, which were considered unlikely to have a significant impact on nature. The remaining 5 were domestic and overseas plant locations, which were found to be more likely to have a negative impact on nature.」
Referring to TNFD scenarios, the Company disclosed for the first time in concrete terms its analysis of nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities using the LEAP approach. Of 235 locations, it identified 49 as subject to consideration of nature and 5 plants as locations more likely to have a negative impact.
