Identification of Climate-Related Risks and Opportunities through TCFD Scenario Analysis
First written in FY2023. 1 of 3 entries say "Restated". Latest entry: FY2026.
- FY2026AdvancedAnnual report
「We conduct analyses using 1.5°C and 4°C scenarios, covering changes in policies and market trends (transition risks and opportunities) and physical changes caused by disasters and other events (physical risks and opportunities). Through these analyses, we identified the risks and opportunities and analyzed and formulated measures in light of their impact on the business.」
Made the climate-related analysis more specific, moving from referring to conventional scenarios to analyzing impacts and measures based on 1.5°C and 4°C scenarios. - FY2024RestatedAnnual report
「As part of our response to climate change, we used the TCFD framework to identify material risks and opportunities relating to the impact on our business and strategy, referring to the IPCC's RCP2.6 scenario (2°C scenario), RCP8.5 scenario (4°C scenario) and the IEA's Sustainable Development Scenario (below 2°C scenario), among others. The time horizons are classified as short term (present to 2025), medium term (2026 to 2030) and long term (2031 onward).」
Continuing to identify climate-related risks and opportunities over short-, medium- and long-term horizons with reference to TCFD, IPCC and IEA scenarios. - FY2023First statedAnnual report
