「At a meeting of the Board of Directors held on 28 November 2025, we resolved to acquire shares of Canon Electronics Co., Ltd., our consolidated subsidiary, through a tender offer, and conducted the tender offer from 1 December 2025 to 19 January 2026. As a result, our ownership interest in the company's shares and other equity securities reached 87.94%. We plan to continue carrying out the procedures required to make the company our wholly owned subsidiary.」
The acquisition of Canon Electronics shares brought our ownership interest to 87.94%, and we newly stated that a series of procedures toward making the company a wholly owned subsidiary would be undertaken.
