Items this document does not state (10)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The decline in revenue was attributable to lower domestic automobile production and reduced production in the steel and construction machinery industries, as well as lower sales of software for car navigation systems and automotive touch panels. These factors led to lower revenue and income in the coating-related business, while income increased in the electronics-related business due to growing orders for automotive sensors and motor controllers.
