Items this document does not state (6)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Retail sales fell below the prior year due to the large number of days with low temperatures and the impact of typhoons, while online sales grew. Although customer traffic declined in retail, sales of relatively high-priced heavy and midweight clothing, including jackets and trousers, were strong, driving up average spend per customer. It is also estimated that having 1 fewer holiday than in the same month of the prior year had a negative impact of approximately 1.6 percentage points on same-store sales.
