「Matters relating to TCFD quantitative analysis and greenhouse gas emissions reductions」
In addition to disclosing scenario analysis for the TCFD, the Sustainability Committee treated quantitative analysis and emissions reductions as agenda items in fiscal 2025. - FY2024Detailing impacts and response measures by scenarioAnnual report
「Based on the results of scenario analysis, we identified the possibility that our performance could be significantly affected by risks including the introduction of policy measures to advance climate change initiatives, such as the introduction of a carbon tax, and changes in customer demand resulting from the transition to low-carbon products and production processes.」
For TCFD-related risks, the scenarios of 1.5°C, 2°C and 4°C, the 2030 and 2050 time horizons, potential impacts and risk mitigation measures were compiled in a list, providing greater detail on the risk assessment. - FY2023First statedAnnual report
「Based on the results of scenario analysis, we identified the possibility that our performance could be significantly affected by risks including the introduction of policy measures to advance climate change initiatives, such as the introduction of a carbon tax, and changes in customer demand resulting from the transition to low-carbon products and production processes.」
Using 1.5°C, 2°C and 4°C scenarios and 2030 and 2050 time horizons, the Group identified risks including carbon taxes, a shift in demand toward low-carbon equipment, automotive electrification, raw material costs and extreme weather, as well as opportunities including battery-related products, low-carbon equipment and repair and refurbishment businesses, together with their potential impacts.
