The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. For the fiscal year ended March 2026, sales of the Nandemo Dubbing media duplication service and Tsukurundesu DIY craft kits were strong. The mobile business also generated higher revenue from an increase in new line activations and the conversion of setup services to a subscription model. These gains were offset by factors including longer smartphone replacement cycles and higher event-related costs resulting from changes in initiatives by mobile network operators. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the Company expects lower profit, assuming continued uncertainty about the outlook and higher personnel and interest expenses.
