As materials procurement preceded revenue during the fiscal year, revenue was ¥577 million, up 4.1% year on year, and operating profit was ¥38 million, down 31.0%. The company worked to improve operating efficiency by thoroughly applying the fundamentals of design, supervision and construction at project sites. Revenue was ¥731 million, up 22.0% year on year, and operating profit was ¥41 million, up 96.1%.」
Wholesale reported higher revenue and earnings, as did retail. Real estate reported higher revenue and earnings due to the rebuilding and new-tenant effects. Scaffolding rental reported higher revenue but lower earnings, while sash and glass installation reported substantial increases in both revenue and earnings.
