「As a result, revenue was ¥2,694 million, down 2.6% year on year, and operating profit was ¥252 million, up 8.6%. As a result, revenue was ¥5,272 million, up 2.4%, and operating profit was ¥456 million, up 13.2%. Through appropriate maintenance and efficient operation of rental assets, revenue was ¥105 million, up 8.6%, and operating profit was ¥70 million, up 1.5%. Although the company worked to improve productivity through more efficient operations and reduce expenses, partly due to the closure of the Obihiro sales office in December last year, revenue was ¥136 million, down 33.9%, and operating profit was ¥2 million, down 84.1%. By thoroughly implementing the fundamentals of design, supervision and construction at work sites, the company worked to improve operational efficiency, resulting in revenue of ¥227 million, up 9.0%, and operating profit of ¥8 million, compared with an operating loss of ¥12 million in the same quarter of the previous year.」
Wholesale recorded lower revenue but higher profit; retail and real estate recorded higher revenue and higher profit; scaffolding rental recorded lower revenue and lower profit due to the closure of a sales office; and sash and glass installation increased revenue and improved to an operating profit.
